The Eastern Pennsylvania Down Syndrome Center is dedicated to the physical and mental well-being of ALL persons with Down syndrome and their families.

Our Purpose
The purpose of the Eastern Pennsylvania Down Syndrome Center is to provide comprehensive medical evaluations of infants, children, adolescents and adults with Down syndrome in a family centered model. The Center will also provide consultative services, provide medical services locally for persons with Down syndrome, and to serve as a community resource for families, service agencies, practitioners, and the general public.
The families of the Eastern PA Down Syndrome Center offer their thoughts and prayers to the family of Steve Riggio (CEO of the Barnes & Noble bookstores) on the passing of his 20 yr. old daughter, Melissa. Melissa, a self-advocate, a writer and poet, lost her battle with leukemia on April 7, 2008.
The Center will be dedicating it's
9th Annual Buddy Walk in Melissa's memory.
