OCTOBER IS DOWN SYNDROME AWARENESS MONTH
10/01/2026October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, a time to celebrate people with Down syndrome, share stories, challenge stereotypes, and help build a more inclusive community.
Throughout the month, EPDSC will be highlighting opportunities to celebrate, connect, learn, and spread awareness — both through our own programs and events and through activities happening throughout our community.
From special events and community celebrations to ways you can show your support, there are many ways to get involved. Check this calendar throughout October for upcoming opportunities and join us in making Down syndrome awareness meaningful, positive, and inclusive.
Let’s celebrate the many contributions, talents, and possibilities of people with Down syndrome — not just in October, but all year long!
